What is it
DREAM stands for Disability with Right, Empowerment, Awareness, and Mobility. This foundation was born from a heartfelt passion to make a real difference. Our simple yet powerful mission is to ensure that every person with a disability feels empowered to grow, thrive, and prosper—with your support, care, and advocacy for positive change.
Timeline of our dream formation
Dr. Bhabananda Biswas (affectionately known as Bhaba) and his family have long been committed to supporting people living with disabilities. Their efforts go beyond financial aid; Bhaba has always believed in creating change at the grassroots level—in our societies, schools, colleges, universities, and playgrounds where children spend their days.
True progress begins when we treat people with disabilities the way we ourselves wish to be treated: with respect, equality, and inclusion. This approach can transform lives and build a more compassionate society.
In July 2025, Bhaba reached out to a close circle of like-minded individuals, sharing his vision to establish a formal foundation dedicated to driving positive change. The response was overwhelming, filled with encouragement and goodwill. Through several collaborative meetings, the team drafted the foundation’s constitution.
Dr. Biswas, as Founding President, along with Mrs. Shikta (General Secretary), invited five additional members to form the Executive Committee. In October 2025, this committee finalized and approved the constitution during a dedicated meeting. The team also prepared and approved several essential meeting minutes required for registration with the Department of Social Services, Bangladesh.
We are excited about the road ahead and invite you to join us in turning this dream into reality for countless individuals. Together, we can foster a world where ability shines brighter than disability!
