We are not here to offer financial help alone. Our mission is to change lives by helping society see people with disabilities as fully included, respected, and valued.
We help people with disabilities see life differently. We ask society to see inclusion as everyone’s responsibility.

We partner with schools and colleges across Bangladesh to build truly inclusive campuses. Through essay competitions, debates, scholarships, awareness workshops, and interactive street-play performances, we help students and teachers understand different types of disabilities (including invisible disabilities), recognise unfair treatment like name-calling or mocking, and create environments where every student feels respected, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Our powerful street plays bring disability awareness to the heart of communities. We perform short, hard-hitting dramas that expose everyday unfair treatment faced by persons with disabilities – name-calling, mocking, exclusion, and unnecessary curiosity – while showing what respect, empathy, and inclusion really look like. Performed in schools, colleges, markets, and public spaces across Bangladesh, these plays spark conversations, challenge stereotypes, and inspire audiences to become allies of inclusion.

We believe small ideas can create big change. DREAM Foundation provides modest grants and scholarships to individuals and organisations across Bangladesh whose innovative project proposals directly support the rights, dignity, inclusion, and mental well-being of persons with disabilities. Whether you’re a student, teacher, artist, small NGO, or community group with a practical idea that promotes awareness, accessibility, or empowerment, we want to help you make it happen.

Inclusive Collaboration
We design programmes with the people we serve. We work with communities, government and partners to scale culturally appropriate solutions.
We design our programmes with input from people with disabilities and their communities. We consult local leaders, families and youth, and provide materials in accessible language. We also partner with NGOs, government bodies, universities and community groups to deliver culturally respectful and effective programmes.
Lifelong Service
We turn compassion into lasting action. We train volunteers and build mentorship pathways so service grows into leadership.
We see service as a long-term commitment. Our volunteers receive training, mentorship and guidance to grow into confident community leaders. Through continuous education and skills-building, we create a network of advocates working for lasting change and deeper inclusion.

Bhabananda Biswas (Bhaba) was born with severe haemophilia in 1982 in Magura, a rural village in the Jashore district of Bangladesh. He grew up in a resilient family that faced poverty, social challenges, and the daily struggle to manage a life-threatening condition. His parents raised two sons with severe haemophilia at a time when preventing bleeding was almost impossible. Bhaba lived through hundreds of painful episodes, sleepless nights, bullying, and social mocking, and developed physical impairment from repeated joint and muscle bleeding. Despite these challenges, he held on to a simple philosophy: education, resilience, and taking life with ease. He graduated from Khulna University in 2007 with the highest standing, completed his master’s degree with top rating, and became a university lecturer at Jashore University of Science and Technology. He later left this role to pursue higher study in Belgium with a European Union scholarship, and then moved to Australia to complete his Doctor of Philosophy. Bhaba is now a Research Fellow at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He lives there with his wife and two sons. His lived experience and belief in dignity, empathy, and awareness inspire the vision of the DREAM Foundation.
